Mascardi Lake

Expeditions

This lake has numerous bays protected with reed beds that provide food and shelter to a remarkable population of salmonids. In his excursions, we arrive at the lake in all-terrain vehicles, where the anglers are provided with the necessary equipment, the rods that will be used are assembled and the boat is prepared to leave. You sail by motor to the fishing areas, but once you are close to the riverbank, the engines are turned off and you proceed by rowing to maintain silence. Among the species are Fontinalis, Rainbow and Brown trout, with an average of 2 to 3 pawns, although there are Brown specimens of more than 6 pawns. We cast towards the coast, near the sunken reeds and logs where salmonids feed.

At noon, a sheltered beach is sought on the lake, where a gourmet Patagonian lunch is prepared while enjoying the view. Having finished lunch, the fishing continues in different bays and affluents of melt streams until late afternoon, where it returns to the starting point and the fishing day ends.

Rods/fishing
